The helpline is designed for members of the university community to raise questions or concerns about ethics and compliance related matters at Temple University, or for any reason at all. When appropriate, the Ethics and Compliance Office may direct matters to other university offices for handling.
Contact the Temple University Ethics and Compliance Helpline. We would rather you speak up about a situation that concerns you than let possible misconduct go unchecked because you were unsure. We understand that situations are not always simple or clear. The Ethics and Compliance Office is here to help you navigate these moments.
All members of the Temple community are responsible for ensuring we uphold the highest standards of integrity. By letting us know when you have a question or see something you think may be wrong, you do your part in ensuring we maintain the highest standards of integrity. Working together, we can continue to encourage an ethical and productive environment.
We certainly do want to hear from you! In fact, we need you to do your part. Your information can help us avoid missteps and keep the university moving in the most constructive and positive way.
Helpline reports are entered directly on a secure server maintained by our third-party administrator, Convercent by OneTrust. The reports are available only to a limited number of individuals within the university who are specifically charged with evaluating the reports based on the type of question or issue and location of the incident. Each of these report recipients is trained to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
Convercent by OneTrust is a third-party, reporting system that is available 24/7. It was established to receive questions, concerns or reports of suspected misconduct. The Convercent by OneTrust system allows for anonymous dialogue with Temple’s Ethics and Compliance Office. Users receive a confidential access number and password enabling them to communicate with the Ethics and Compliance Office, view messages and check the status of their report.
No. The helpline is a voluntary resource available to anyone wishing, in good faith, to report a concern or ask a question. It is not a surveillance system.
